“Sartor 1956” was established thanks to the enterprising spirit of Urbano Sartor, who had the idea of founding a business in the little village of Vignui di Feltre (Belluno), looking onto the Dolomites, today a Unesco World Heritage Site.

Our vision
From a simple workshop making door and window frames, the business expanded into the production of made-to-measure furniture, and the premises grew to a surface area of 300 square metres, in the artisan production area of Fonzaso, and the company opened its first showroom, measuring 700 square metres. Demand from the market rose, and in the 1980s, a small sawmill and drying facility was added, completing the wood supply chain.
In the 1990s, in the hands of the second generation, the company moved into the area of consulting, and Urbano’s son Giuliano began working with a network of professionals, as well as focusing on the development of new patents and the innovative concept of interior design.
